Do YOU know Cleo???

Who is Cleo Murdoch? What was her life like in Flagstaff? The answers to these questions, and many others, remain known only by few. Through this First Friday event, we hoped to expand the public’s knowledge of Cleo Murdoch while simultaneously providing a space for local artists to display and sell their work.

Duane Koyawena and Dwayne Manuel, two Indigenous artists and community members, had the opportunity to speak about, display, and sell their artwork. Additionally, the event was catered by local chefs, who curated a special menu for the evening, including “The Cleo,” “The Murdoch,” and “The Southside”. We had an excellent turnout and look forward to the next art walk!
